Great place and often underrated

A very Historic City; no place more than mile from Salt Water; beautiful public beaches; vibrant art, theatre and music scene; brand new Science and Technology Magnet High School; home to Pfizer's Global Research and Development Center; three four year colleges in less than 6 square mile City Limits (Connecticut College, Mitchell College, US Coast Guard Academy); award winning hospital; wide mix of housing; diverse ethnicity; Amtrak service to Boston and New York; ferries to Long Island and Block Island; minutes to major Museums in CT (Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, Mashantucket Pequot Museum, Florence Griswold Museum; and two largest casinos in North America (Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun), and an engaged and engaging population, passionate about their city.
